If you are a student or recent graduate of any college, university, or other tertiary institution, you are invited to serve and learn how to apply your field of study at a Field Project with Field Ministry Internships. And if you are a Field Project leader, you may apply to host interns. Let us help. PURPOSE: The purpose of Field Ministry Internships (FMI) is to enable the intern to acquire “real world” experience that can be, simultaneously, (a) applied for the purpose of accumulating hours leading towards pre-approved transfer of academic credit, (b) a rewarding experience to the intern, and (c) useful to the internship/project host. An FMI internship is not a part-time job and no monetary compensation is provided, no remuneration, and/or no employment offer after the internship term should be expected. What may be expected is an intensive live-learn, cross-cultural experience serving a community’s long-term project. Want to form a team? Do you know a project that needs interns? Originated and directed from the UofN Kona Campus in Hawaii until 1989, our small and varied team has prepared and launched these interns from YWAM centers in Bali, El Salvador, Guatemala, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, as well as Arkansas, California, Minnesota, New York, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. FMI has provided field project teams a significant boost through short-term student teams for intensive research or project plan execution.
